Sand hills 6/2020

Fire tower at Valentine National Wildlife Refuge near Valentine, Nebraska. The tower was built by Civilian Conservation Corp in the 1930Õs. During the depression the corpsmen worked in national wildlife refuges, national parks and national forests for $30 a month and part of the pay was sent back to the CorpsmenÕs homes.
