Joe Burns is a former Omaha Public Schools high school teacher and Metro Community College photography adjunct instructor. Burns is also a freelance photojournalist working as the principal photographer for the Enterprise Publishing Company in Blair Nebraska. Burns has earned numerous photograph awards in the Nebraska Press Association annual Better Newspaper contest.
